  • Data Analyst

    Location : Edinburgh or Stirling
    Salary : £20-£30k + Profit Share

    MRM are an industry leading technology company focused on providing innovative digital solutions for sales and marketing professionals in the licensed On-Trade. Companies such as Bacardi, Carlsberg, Diageo, Molson Coors and Pernod Ricard use our software to help their sales teams support their customers with customised sales and marketing materials that increase sales and improve customer retention.

     

    Data is critical to the success of our platform. Due to recent expansion, we are seeking to recruit our first data analyst position. The role will be a mix of managing, consolidating and improving our data loading processes; devising way of assuring the quality of our data; and internal/external reporting.

     

    However, you’ll need to be more than just an Excel expert – you’ll need to be confident in front of clients, and proactive in improving the quality of data used in our platform. The end goal is to fully automate our day to day data loading, so this role can focus on more ‘value add’ work such as client reporting and product usage analytics.

     

    Technical skills – especially SQL – are a plus, but are not essential, provided you are keen to work with our engineering team to learn these skills.

     

    This role offers excellent opportunities for progression in either a technical or business direction, and as such may suit a recent graduate.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overall data quality feeding into our Brand Creator platform. Work with clients to devise strategies for data loading – likely to be a mix of fully automated, partially automated and manual techniques.
    • Managing internal and external reporting processes. Continually improving our reporting and ensuring it is in line with client needs. Ensuring reports are accurate, timely and well presented.
    • Continuously improving processes around data and working with the development team to automate as much data work as possible.
    • Liaising directly with junior and senior stakeholders at MRM’s clients to monitor quality of data and ensure improvements are being made.
    • Analysing usage data for MRM’s product offering. Using this data to identify opportunities to improve our products.
    • Take the lead in managing data for new client roll outs.
    • Identifying sales opportunities at our existing accounts.
    • Compliance with data protection legislation.
    • Ad hoc project work.

    Skills/Attributes

    Essential

    • A details-oriented mindset combined with an ability to analyse a process and identify opportunities for improvements.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Advanced Excel skills.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and balance competing priorities.

    Desirable

    • Drinks industry experience.
    • SQL knowledge
    • Programming/scripting knowledge.
    • Experience of web/app analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, MixPanel).

  • Customer Success Manager

    Due to several new international contract wins, MRM are looking for an ambitious, confident and influential individual with extensive drinks industry experience to help our clients implement and maximise the benefits of our software.

    Our Customer Success team advises and guides a wide variety of customers, ensuring they launch Brand Creator successfully, adopt it widely and are continually driving business value from Brand Creator.

    Customer Success Managers are entrusted with some of Brand Creator’s largest and most strategic customers, working with stakeholders across all parts of the business and at all levels to drive increased adoption of Brand Creator and to improve the overall quality and maturity of its use.

    Part coach, project manager, business consultant and product expert, our Customer Success Managers are continually focused on helping some Brand Creator’s largest customers improve their team communication and to be successful with Brand Creator.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all post-sales activity for MRM’s Brand Creator customers through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning and execution
    • Ensure that a plan is in place with each customer for deployment, change management and adoption programs
    • Maintain high levels of customer engagement (including on site meetings) with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Conduct workshops, business reviews and proactively suggest solutions to common customer challenges.
    • Continually identify and develop new uses for Brand Creator that drive adoption and that align to customers’ business needs and strategic goals.
    • Proactively spot and correct any issues that could affect customer satisfaction or retention
    • Coach “super users” and Field Sales Managers to be product experts and train their teams on Brand Creator best practices so they become increasingly self-sufficient.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to newer account managers and partner with Brand Creator’s Customer Support to help them be more effective.
    • Develop Customer Success assets and methods, and work with product marketing to create new or refine existing onboarding materials.
    • Help drive customer references and case studies
    • Function as the voice of the customer and provide internal feedback on how Box can better serve our business and enterprise customers

  • International Sales Manager

    Location : Edinburgh or Stirling
    Salary : £30,000-£45,000 plus profit share

    Due to several new international contract wins, MRM are looking for an ambitious, confident and influential individual with extensive drinks industry experience to help our clients implement and maximise the benefits of our software.

    This role would be ideal for someone with experience of working for a large drinks supplier or wholesaler who wants to continue working in the drinks industry and would thrive in an environment where you will have the autonomy, responsibility and opportunity to make a significant impact to the growth of the business.

    We are looking for a candidate who has the tenacity and drive to see a project through to fruition in a fast-paced environment, managing all key stakeholders and ensuring all parties involved in successful delivery, deliver on time, getting it right the first time.

    The responsibilities of this role will include:

    Deliver best possible implementation experience including on-boarding, timeline & process management, data gathering, software configuration, data migration and user training.

    Manage the full account life cycle from setup, implementation and driving user engagement.

    Manage and develop senior level customer relationships, including managing client expectations and customer experience.

    Drive the delivery timetable, liaising with all key stakeholders and ensuring targets and deadlines are met.

    Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase sales and/or profit

    Gathering of project critical data from multiple sources.

    Ability to influence and coordinate internal and external resources.

    Collaborate regularly with product management and software development to gain product knowledge and provide feedback on product capability and direction.
